In Loving Memory of Shan'nel Atiya Alexander

June 3, 1981 – July 9, 2025

Shan'nel Atiya Alexander, a passionate traveler, loving sister, and proud businesswoman, took her final journey and earned her wings on July 9, 2025.

Born on June 3, 1981, Shan'nel lived a life full of adventure and purpose. After earning her associate degree in Business, she followed her dreams and opened her own travel agency, helping others explore the world just as she did. Her work took her across continents, and although there were still places left to see, her journey was rich with beauty, culture, and connection.

Shan'nel was adored by her three loyal companions, her dogs Kai, Kane, and Karma, and was known for her infectious smile and magnetic personality — a true believer that strangers are just friends she hadn't met yet.

She is survived by her loving mother, Charlotte Tissychy-Alexander; her brothers (Billy) William Alexander and Samuel Alexander of Lawton, Oklahoma; her brother Robert (Duce) McConnell of Wichita, Kansas; and her sister Brittany Watkins of Miami, Florida.

Those who knew Shan'nel will remember her generous heart, her vibrant spirit, and the countless memories she gave us. Though she's no longer walking beside us, her light continues to shine in the lives she touched.
