San Martin Torres

March 10, 1970 - May 9, 2025

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of San Martin "Marty" Torres at the age of 55 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He loved the lord and is now where he wanted to be in a place of peace and without pain.

He was born in Corpus Christi to Aurelia Villarreal and Juan Torres Sr. He spent years as a caring husband, father, and friend to many people in his life. He enjoyed the time he dedicated to working as a nurse's assistant and had many fond memories of the patients he helped care for with kindness.

Marty will always be remembered for his love to his family, his ability to add beauty to his surroundings, and his wholehearted pursuit of joy. We will always imagine Marty on his way to go fishing or getting ready to make a barbecue for his family. Marty was grateful for his family's love, understanding, and support throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he knew and loved.

He is survived by his mother Aurelia Villarreal and his siblings Juan Torres Jr. (Denise), Louis Torres, Mary Medina, Linda Caldera (Carlos), Abel Torres (Angela), Alicia Torres (Brittany), and Maria Balle. He is also survived by his children Marty Torres, David Torres, Krista Navarro, and Audie Navarro.

His memory will also be cherished by his grandson Gilbert Coronado Jr. and his many nephews and nieces.

He will be deeply missed
