IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ryan
Cagle
February 13, 1982 – July 21, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan Cagle, who left us on July 21, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on February 13, 1982, in Victoria, TX, to Richard and Linda Cagle, Ryan spent most of his youth in Corpus Christi, TX, and graduated from Flour Bluff High School. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, friend, and an amazing surfer. Ryan was a kind, generous, and loving soul who surfed all over the world, including Indonesia, Panama, Mexico, and most recently, Australia. At a very young age, Ryan competed in surfing contests across Texas, Florida, California, and Hawaii, and was ranked at the top of the USSF surfing competitions as a young competitor who turned pro in the early 2000s.
We will have a celebration of life "Paddle Out" at Bob Hall Pier on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 12 noon. Friends and family of Ryan will be present to share stories and adventures of our sweet son. He is survived by his father Rich (Janice) Cagle; sisters Christina (Todd) Gilbertson and Cheryl (Brian) Rister; nieces Abby, Emma, Jordyn, and Juliet; and cherished friends. Ryan's light will continue to shine in our hearts. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
