Ruth Petra Garcia,age 68 passed away April 24,2026 peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Ruth Petra Garcia was born July 6th 1957 in Corpus Christi,Texas.

She was a caregiver for many years. She was a very devoted, hard-working woman she cherished and loved every minute she got to spend with her kids and her grandkids. She was a diehard, Dallas cowboy fan and loved her Scooby Doo. She loved her puppies( Tiny,Missy, & Sister). Ruth was a great mother, grandmother,sister,aunt, cousin and friend. She will be truly missed by her loved ones.

Ruth is proceeded in death by her parents and her son Martin Canchola III and grandson Johnny Rae Latigo.

Ruth is survived by her Children Valerie(Rick) Fuentes, Edward Garcia Jr, Eric Garcia Sr(Daisy). Grandchildren Joseph A Garcia, Stephanie Soto, Eric Garcia Jr, Jacob Salas,Stacie Soto,Edward Garcia III, Briana R Garcia, Ze’ryk K Garcia, Martin, Paul Canchola, Sebastian E, Izayah D, Noha M,Sage Vincent Dean, Alexander M, Rex W Garcia.
