IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roslyn Evette
Hensley
August 25, 1964 – April 25, 2025
Roslyn Evette Hensley was born August 25, 1964, to the late Levester Hensley and Ernestine Hensley in Corpus Christi, Texas. Roslyn was a loving and giving person. She would give you her all. Roslyn liked to go to T. C. Recreation Center, where she learned to dance. When the music came on, you know Roslyn was somewhere dancing. On the weekends, she liked to go skating with the kids from the neighborhood and her best friend, Danette (DeeDee) Lindsey. Roslyn accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and later in life was baptized by Rev. Maurice Washington at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Roslyn was blessed to become the mother of her two sons, Zachary and Terrance. Roslyn worked as a CNA in various nursing homes around town. Roslyn was the life of the party and loved to dance.
Roslyn is preceded in death by her father, the late Levester Hensley; her grandmother, Minnie Lee Wilson; her grandfather, Alvin Rountree; her great-grandmother, Bertha Johnson; and her great-grandfather, Frank Wilson.

"I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord will award to me.."
Timothy 4:7-8 NIV
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair; perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there and you; if you made a donation, bought a plate or prepared meals; perhaps you spoke kind words, as any friend could say; perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part.
May God forever bless each of you.
