Rose Rodriguez

Rose Rodriguez, age 61, passed away on January 31, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Born on November 25, 1964, in Texas, Rose lived a life filled with love, energy, and compassion. She was known for her generous spirit and unwavering devotion to her family. Her kindness touched the lives of many, and she consistently put others before herself.

Rose found great joy in spending time outdoors and was especially fond of participating in sports with friends and family. Whether it was swimming under the Texas sun or enjoying a friendly game outside, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm. She also had a creative side—knitting brought her peace and satisfaction, while dancing and singing allowed her vibrant personality to shine.

Family was at the heart of everything Rose did. She is lovingly remembered by her mother Eva Delagarza; sister Nora Whaley; brothers Roger and Juan Antonio Delagarza; sons Rene and Martin; daughters Marissa and Vanessa; and her cherished grandchildren Felicity, Jayden, Nathaniel, Abraham, Lilith, Vivica, and Ivan. Her deep love for her grandchildren was evident in every smile she shared with them.

Rose now joins those who passed before her: her father Rumaldo Delagarza; brother Jose Luis Delagarza; husband Martin Rodriguez; and son Orlando Tanguma and great-granddaughter Genevieve Macias.

Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched with her warmth and selflessness. May her legacy bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
