Rolando C. Hinojosa

Rolando C. Hinojosa, age 87, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026. Born on May 2, 1939, he was the son of the late Samuel Hinojosa and Juanita Cardona.

A hard-working man, Rolando spent his career working as a shrimper and later with Horton Automatics.

Rolando was preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Sanchez Hinojosa, who cared for their home and family as a housewife; his parents, Samuel Hinojosa and Juanita Cardona; and his son, Roland II Hinojosa.

He is survived by his daughters, Peggy, Trini, and Rhonda; his son, Alex; and numerous grandchildren.

Peggy’s Children: David Hinojosa, Lorraine Davila, Juan Davila Jr., and Sandra Davila

Trini’s Children: Roberto Jr. Lugo, Jessica Marie Lugo Goodrow, Amy Yvonne Lugo Keever, and Sammy Rene Lugo

Roland’s Children: Rosie Hinojosa, Roland Hinojosa, and Ronnie Hinojosa

All who knew and loved him will forever remember Rolando's life and hardworking spirit.
