Roberto Espinoza, affectionately known as "Robe," passed away on April 11, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on March 20, 1947, in Robstown, Texas, Roberto lived a life marked by devotion to his family, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and great grandpa—roles he embraced with unwavering commitment and joy. Roberto found great happiness in spending time with his family, custom woodworking, fishing, golfing, and gardening.
Roberto is survived by his devoted wife, Beatrice Espinoza; his sons Ralph Espinoza, Gabriel Espinoza, Librado Leal, and Robert Espinoza, along with Robert’s wife, Kamille; and his daughter, Gracie Guerra. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings Celia; Rosalinda and her husband Dave; Ovidio and his wife Lydia; and Juan and his wife Eva. Cherishing his enduring family legacy are seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who carry forward his memory and values.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Paula Espinoza; and his siblings Ignacio Jr., Baldemar, Jose, Fernando, Eloida, and Ofelia. Their memories remain a treasured part of Roberto's life story.
Services to honor Roberto’s life will begin with a visitation at Saxet Funeral Home located at 4001 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78408, on April 23, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The evening will include a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. The following day, April 24, a funeral service will be held at the same location starting at 8:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78412, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Having the honor of serving as pallbearers are Ralph Espinoza, Gabriel Espinoza, Robert Espinoza, Librado Leal, Ralph Espinoza Jr., Ralph Espinoza III, Paul Ayala and Jimmy Calderon.
Roberto’s life was one of strength and steadfast love. His impact was felt by all who knew him, and his memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. He now rests in peace, forever remembered as a man who gave generously of himself in every role he played.
