  1. In Loving Memory of Ramon Joel Peña

    “Rocket”

    December 30, 1983 – October 18, 2026

Ramon Joel Peña, affectionately known as “Rocket,” passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2026, at the age of 42. Though his time here was far too short, Ramon lived a life full of energy, laughter, adventure, and love. His unexpected passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ramon was a free spirit who lived life his own way. He had a carefree soul, a great sense of humor, and a personality that brought life and laughter wherever he went. He loved riding motorcycles and embracing the freedom and adventure of the open road. Ramon had a way of making people laugh and creating memories that would stay with them long after the moment had passed.

Above all else, Ramon loved his children more than anything in the world. His beloved children, Anastasia Peña and Ramon Peña II, were his heart, his pride, and his greatest treasure. No matter what life brought his way, the love he had for his children was unwavering. They were the most precious part of his world, and the bond they shared will forever remain in their hearts.

One of the most beautiful things about Ramon was his willingness to help others. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back, even when he had very little himself. If someone needed a helping hand, Ramon did what he could to be there. He understood that kindness wasn't measured by how much you had, but by how much you were willing to give. His generous heart and willingness to help others were a special part of who he was, and that is a legacy that will live on through the countless lives he touched.

Ramon is survived by his beloved children, Anastasia Peña (Mary, mother) and Ramon Peña II (Debra, mother); his loving mother, Sylvia Calderon; his sisters, Bianca Ann Garcia and her husband, Ismael, and Aliza Flanigan and her husband, Brian; and his brothers, Roland Soto and Tony Soto. He also leaves behind his nieces, Arianna Peña and Navah Garcia; his nephews, Ismael Garcia Jr., Elijah Garcia, and Brian Flanigan Jr.; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Roland Soto, and his grandparents, Ignacio Soto, Maria Soto, and Paula Calderon.

Though Ramon may no longer be here with us, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the kindness he showed will never be forgotten. His life reminds us that a person's true wealth is not found in what they own, but in the love they give and the lives they touch along the way.

The road ahead will not be the same without Rocket. His absence will be felt in the quiet moments, in family gatherings, in the laughter that brings back a memory, and in every reminder of the free spirit who lived life with his own kind of fire. Though our hearts are broken by his unexpected departure, we find comfort in knowing that the love he gave and the memories he left behind will remain with us forever.
