Monica Wilman, born on December 6, 1972, in Corpus Christi, passed away on August 21, 2026. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family whose lives she touched so deeply.

Monica was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan R. Wilman, and her mother, Herminia “Minnie” Wilman. She was also preceded in death by her niece, Aryanna L. Reyna, and her nephew, Roger Wilman.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory always. Monica is survived by her sister, Melisa Reyna, and her brother, Juan Rogelio Wilman. Her love continues through her children, Chelsea Ponce, Matthew Salinas, and John Blanco, and through her five grandchildren, who were an important part of her family’s circle of love and remembrance.

Family and friends are invited to gather in Monica’s honor on September 11, 2026, at Saxet Funeral Home, 4001 Leopard St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78408. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78408.

Monica’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
