Michelle Yvette Anderson, 53, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 16, 2026. She was born on August 11, 1972, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Fredrick M. Anderson and Eliza P. Anderson. Michelle received her education through the West Oso Independent Special Education Department, where she excelled in every area. She was a joyful, loving child whose bright spirit touched everyone around her. She loved dancing and often showed off her karate moves to her Coach and her Pawpaw, Manuel Anderson Jr. One of Michelle's proudest moments was being chosen as the West Oso Bears' Mascot. She suited up for every game, cheering her team on with excitement and heart. She embraced the role fully, dancing and entertaining the crowd with pure joy. A difficult moment at school dimmed that light for a time, but her family worked tirelessly to restore her happiness and remind her how deeply she was loved. Michelle remained a kid at heart throughout her life. She loved spending time with family and was always thrilled when visitors came by. She enjoyed watching the Disney Channel, playing with her cats and stuffed animals, and her favorite movie in recent years was Lilo & Stitch. She also loved reading, and whenever she came across a word she didn't know, she would spell it out and ask for the meaning, never forgetting it once she learned it. Michelle was sweet, polite, and appreciative of every kindness shown to her. She always said" please" and "thank you," and she cherished even the smallest gifts. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her family. In the week before her transition, Michelle said, "I really miss that old lady," speaking of her beloved Anderson. Her family gently reminded her that they, too, missed her. Now Michelle's spirit has reunited with her grandmother in heaven, along with God and the many loved ones who went before her. Michelle leaves behind a legacy of innocence, joy, and love that her family will carry forever.
