It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Andrea Alaniz on June 23, 2025, at the age of 71. Andrea was born on August 16, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a devoted wife to the late Francisco Alaniz and a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Andrea had a strong Christian faith and believed deeply in the word of God. She found joy in singing and brought light and warmth to those around her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Alaniz. Andrea is survived by her children: Francisco Alaniz, Audra Verastique, Angelica Treviño, Melinda Rodriguez, and Horacio Alaniz. She also leaves behind 28 cherished grandchildren.

A celebration of Andrea's life will be held on August 2, 2025, at Saxet Funeral Home. May her memory be a blessing.
