Manuel "Manny" Rene Perez

Manuel Rene Perez “Manny”, 41, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1984, to parents Belinda and Manuel Perez. He is survived by his mother Belinda Perez, brothers Marcus Munoz and Mario Perez, sister Belinda Garcia and son Manuel Rene Perez II. He is preceded in death by his father Manuel Perez. Manny attended Mary Carroll High School and Barber College.

As a child, Manny excelled at sports such as baseball and basketball. He got good grades, rarely studied and was naturally smart. From a very young age he was passionate and fearless, never walking away from a challenge. He was always willing to stand up for himself and what he believed in. He stood on his ground and spoke his mind, never holding his tongue. He was strong-willed, confident and didn't walk away from confrontation.

Manny enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, listening to rap music at home, eating good food and spending time with family and his friends. He would often invite his friends over just to spend time and make good memories. He had the mindset of an entrepreneur and a desire to provide for his loved ones. He was masculine and protective. We will miss Manny’s smile, brown eyes, humor, wit, and passionate personality. Always and forever in our hearts.
