Jose (Joe) Charles Sauceda passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Survived by his wife Minerva (Minnie) Sauceda of 39 years, his son Gilbert Carbajal (Teri), his daughters Jo Ann Beltran, Lee Anna Carbajal (Albert Ramos), and Evelyn Villarreal (Mark Zuniga). He is also survived by his brothers Agapito Sauceda, Jr., Armando Sauceda (Linda), Albert Sauceda (Blanca), Carlos Sauceda (Janie), Daniel Sauceda (Belinda), David Sauceda (Marlene), and a sister, Christina Walters. He was also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Agapito and Genoveva Charles Sauceda, his sons Don Carbajal Jr., Jose Sauceda, Jr., and James Joel Sauceda, Sr.

Joe was born on February 13, 1946, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Joe worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years and as a security guard for 16 years. He enjoyed family time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and close friends. Joe was a respectable, caring and good-hearted man who enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed reading all types of literature. Another favorite past time was watching classic western movies. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
