Jorge Luis Tello,

Jorge Luis Tello, 36, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. He leaves behind a life defined by love, creativity, and deep connections that will be forever cherished by those who knew him.

Born on October 1, 1989, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, Jorge lived with heart and intention. He found his greatest joy in spending time with family and close friends, always valuing shared moments, conversation, and laughter. He enjoyed television and movies and had a strong passion for sports, especially soccer and Formula 1. Jorge also loved the outdoors—camping, hiking, and long walks with his beloved dog, Buster, which brought him peace and happiness.

Music and creativity were at the core of Jorge’s spirit. He loved listening to music, playing guitar, and writing, often expressing his emotions through sound and words. His favorite band, Deftones, reflected his deep appreciation for music that spoke to the soul. Jorge’s creative nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

For 16 years, Jorge shared a devoted and loving marriage with his wife, Vanessa Lerma. Together, they built a life rooted in love, friendship, and laughter. He was a proud and devoted father to his daughter, Penelope Tello-Lerma, who was the light of his life and his greatest joy.

Jorge is survived by his wife and daughter; his mother, Esther Tello Hinojosa; father, Jorge Tello Padilla; sister, Karen Tello Hinojosa; brother, Luis Tello Hinojosa; nephew, Joaquin Tello; grandmother, Ofelia Baltaza Tavera; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Francisco Fonseca Hernandez, Rosavelia Padilla de Tello, and Uriel Tello Sandoval.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Saxet Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mass will follow at St. Joseph’s Church.
