Joe Anthony Anguiano, affectionately known as Joey, was born on January 26, 1979, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He departed this life on February 10, 2026, in his beloved hometown, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Joey was a loving husband to Elda Huerta and a proud father to Alandria, Madelyn, Allison, Ethan, and Renae Anguiano. His love for his family was evident in everything he did and the countless moments they spent together. He enjoyed trips to Greatwolf Lodge, where laughter echoed through their adventures, and Sundays were a highlight of his week, dedicated to watching the Dallas Cowboys play. Joey had a true talent for cooking and often prepared delicious ribs that brought family members together, making every meal a celebration.

A proud graduate of Carol High School, Class of 1997, Joey exemplified a hardworking spirit throughout his career in equipment rental. Friends and family knew him for his generous heart and unwavering devotion, always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear. His hobbies included spending time with his beloved dogs and collecting Funkopops, which reflected his fun-loving personality.

Joey's mother, Maria Sylvia West, as well as his siblings—Loraine (Jose) Bernal, Janette Rodriguez, Kristian (Joe Albert) West, and Marcisa (Noe) West-Lopez—along with numerous nieces and nephews will forever hold his memory close. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesus and Elia Espinosa; his uncles, Salome and Juan Espinosa; and his father, Jose Rodriguez.

His proudest accomplishments included not only providing for his family but also witnessing their achievements and growth. Joey's presence in their lives will be greatly missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire them to cherish their bonds and to embody the love and kindness he so generously shared.
