Jan was born in Texarkana, TX in 1935 and raised in the small East Texas town of Mount Pleasant, TX. She graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce, TX as did her 4 siblings. She obtained her medical technology degree from Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX and made her way North to Ohio State University where she met the love of her life (Frank) in a laboratory. They were married in 1958 and permanently moved to Corpus Christi in 1962 where they raised their two sons Scott and Christopher. She loved to play tennis, play bridge with her friends, and drive her sons all over the state of Texas playing tennis. Jan loved life and was the most amazing mother and wife. She loved to laugh, cook, was a collector of fine art, loved animals, loved to take care of her plants and flowers, was an amazing grandmother, was very kind and joyful and had a hilarious snarky, quipped, sassy, fun loving sense of humor. She was a talented decorator, hard-working, generous, caring, lovely woman. She loved spending time in Vail, CO at their condo. Jan passed away peacefully at the age of 91 surrounded by her immediate family 2 days after her 68th wedding anniversary. She is very much loved and will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband Frank, two sons Scott and Christopher, 5 grandchildren Jessica (Justin), Bryce, Louis, Meredith, and Sullivan, 2 great grandchildren Gia and Luca and siblings Grady, Margaret, and Jennifer.

Rest in peace Jan, see you on the other side. Services will be private at a later date.
