Harold Bruce Koclanes, 80, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on July 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 11, 1946, he went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corps, a source of honor and pride throughout his life.  

Harold was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Koclanes; his daughter, Kallieste McKinzey; his grandsons, John Todd Kassack, James Koclanes, and Bruce McKinzey; and his three great-grandchildren, Grasyn, Daylynn, and Rowan, who were the light of his life. His family will forever remember his steady presence, his stories, and the way his eyes lit up when he talked about them.  

A longtime member of the Masons, Harold valued brotherhood, integrity, and service to others. He was also an avid gun collector who enjoyed sharing his knowledge, his collection, and many afternoons at the range with friends and family.  

Harold was loved deeply and will be missed more than words can say. His legacy of love, loyalty, and strength lives on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.  

He is survived by his wife, Ginger; daughter, Kallieste; and his sister, Mary Jo; grandsons John Todd, James, and Bruce; and great‑grandchildren Grasyn, Daylynn, and Rowan, along with other beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Phillip Koclanes and mother Lucretia Koclanes.
