Born on May 18, 1944, in Abasolo, Tampico, Mexico, Geronimo’s journey was one marked by love, resilience, and a quiet strength that left an indelible impression on all who knew him.

Geronimo’s story began in the embrace of a large and close-knit family. He was the beloved son of Isabel and Pablo Urbina, whose example he carried with him throughout his life. Although his parents have preceded him in death, their teachings and unyielding support shaped the man Geronimo became—a man who never wavered in his loyalty to family and friends.

As a brother, Geronimo was cherished deeply. He is survived by his siblings: Adela Rodriguez and Rafael Rodriguez, Cirilo Urbina, Belan Urbina, Camerino Urbina, Lupita Salvas Urbina, and Elena Urbina. Their bond, forged through years of shared joy and challenges, was a source of unwavering comfort and mutual strength. The memories they built together, from laughter-filled moments to heartfelt conversations, remain treasures that time cannot diminish.

Geronimo is also remembered and mourned by his son, Eddie Urbina, who carries forward the spirit, wisdom, and kindness that defined Geronimo’s life. Eddie, and indeed the entire family, draws strength from the example Geronimo set—his patience, compassion, and quiet generosity echoing through each generation.

To honor Geronimo’s life and legacy, visitation will be held at Saxet Funeral Home, 4001 Leopard St, Corpus Christi, TX 78408, on Thursday, August 7th, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A Rosary is scheduled at the same venue from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Following these services, Geronimo will be laid to rest at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Dr., Corpus Christi, TX 78412, with burial commencing at 2:00 PM.
