George Garza Acuna, was born in Corpus Christi, TX on April 11, 1960, he found his eternal rest at home in New Braunfels on October 3, 2025.
He attended Foy H Moody High School in Corpus Christi. He served in the United States Marine Corp. While in the USMC he served as a Vehicle Recovery Mechanic, he was awarded the Rifle Marksman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Mast, Meritorious Unit Commendation and Navy Unit Commendation.
He valued hard work, honesty, and the value of a man's word. To his wife he was loving and caring.
His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren, watching golf on TV, barbecuing, and finding great joy in fishing & winning big on lottery scratch-off's.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Olivia and Sevastian Acuna, sisters Tomasita Gonzalez and Susana A Hernandez, brother Sevastian Acuna, Jr., and son Ian Mcree.
He leaves behind his wife Julian A. Brown of New Braunfels, son Sebastian Acuna, daughters Angelica Acuna and Samantha Blancher, extended son and daughter Lorenzo and Francesca Brown, sisters Andrea (Ruben), Rosa Acuna Cavazos (Esquiel), grandchildren Chloe (girlfriend), Luca (buddy), Carlito (boxer) Lorenzo (Lj), Kal-el (Superman), Johnny (nephew whom he shared a bond as brothers), and many nieces and nephews whom he loved with all his heart.
