IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Francisco Javier
Garza
June 8, 1972 – November 30, 2025
Francisco Javier Garza
Francisco Javier Garza known to everyone as "Kiko" was 53 years old, born on June 8. 1972. He was called home on Saturday, November 29, 2025, after losing a hard battle against CHF. God set him free from the struggle and the pain from the illness which took his heart away but not his spirit nor his soul.
He leaves behind his daughters. Rebecca Janee, Aryanna Elise and Yssa Belen Garza who are lost without their dad. Their prankster, their always fun and loving dad, their go to for Math homework, basketball lay-ups and their ever-loving fishing buddy. Their dad whose love will always be there; strong and steady.
Left to mourn him also are his two sisters Lina Monique and Liza Marie Garza who are left with a void that will never be filled and a hole in their hearts that a lifetime will never heal. Sharing and learning from big brother became a huge part of their young lives as he was always there with a ride, to change a flat, untangle the fishing line or even catch the lizard in the bedroom, always there no matter what!!
Mourning many of his cousins and countless friends who suffer the tragic loss of their one true friend, their childhood friend, the friend who always made them laugh. With his infectious smile and personality, he knew no stranger. Considered a leader of the pack by his cousins he was seldom seen as a threat but rather as an example.
Kiko grew up in Corpus Christi attending Holy Family School, where he also became an altar server at Holy Family Church. He finished elementary school at Central Park Elementary and at Baker Middle School music became his focus and continued into high school at W.B.Ray High School where he continued his education and joined the band as a drummer while pursuing his sport activities with baseball as a left-hand pitcher.
His love for sports and outdoor activities was instilled in him at a very young age by his dad as he
taught him to fish, hunt, play baseball and soccer. But his love for the outdoors always led him to his first love…fishing. Alone or with friends he was most happy when he was at his favorite fishing spot, kicking back waiting to land that fish.
Kiko is survived by his grieving mother Lina Guadalupe Villanueva, his daughters Rebecca Janee, Aryanna Elise, and Yssa Belen Garza, his sisters Lina Monique and Liza Marie, his maternal grandfather Edmundo Villanueva, his aunts and uncles: Elva G. Stansel, San Juanita Garza, Sylvia G. Perales (David+) Yolanda G. Guerrero (Antonio+) Cindy Ayala (Eddie), Fernando Garza, Federico Garza, and Ricardo Garza (Romelia), Magdalena Graham (Jess), numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, and an abundance of friends.
