Faustina M. Cervantes (Granny), a cherished Widow, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed into eternal life on March 28, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. Faustina shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Albert Cervantes Sr., until he was called home by the Lord in 1991. Her radiant smile, kindness, vibrant spirit, and infectious humor touched the hearts of all who knew her. Faustina lived a life filled with purpose and happiness, reveling in family gatherings, shopping excursions, savoring meals out, and spending time with her siblings to create more cherished memories. Her caring nature and willingness to lend a helping hand inspired countless lives will always be remembered. Being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy, and she eagerly anticipated the arrival of new babies.
Despite her courageous two-year battle with cancer, Faustina's spirit remained unbroken, and her smile never faltered, even in the face of pain. Now, she rests in eternal peace, free from pain and sorrow, basking in the glory of heaven with our Lord and Savior.
Faustina is preceded in death by her parents, Moises and Julia Leyba; her husband, Albert Cervantes Sr.; her sisters, Carmen Wible and Juanita Consuelo Lopez.
Her cherished memories will live on through her children: Albert (Laura) Cervantes Jr., Nicholas Cervantes, Manuel Cervantes; her 12 grandchildren: Albert “Tom” Cervantes, Mercedes Cervantes, Paige (Hector) Buenrostro, Samantha (Brandon) Villarreal, Jonathan Martinez, Dymand (Jonathon) Cervantes-Ordaz , Kaine Cervantes, Miley Cervantes, Addison Cervantes, Katelyn Cervantes, Silas Cervantes, and Seely Cervantes; and her 10 great-grandchildren: Jayda Tovar, Devin Cervantes, Izak & Elliana Buenrostro, Aeson, Ermies and Mila Ordaz, Ivan Acosta, and Micah & Baby Villarreal.
Her Sister Maria Elena (Reyes), Her brothers Moises (Lucy) and Nasario Leyba.
