In Loving Memory of Elifonso Zamora Jr

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elifonso Zamora Jr, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 68.

Elifonso was born on April 24, 1958, in Alice Texas. He was a devoted husband, father, uncle and grandfather whose presence brought joy to those around him.

Throughout his life, Elifonso worked as a welder and a carpenter. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work and skills he developed over the years.

He enjoyed spending time with family but most of all he loved being with his wife. He also enjoyed going dancing and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his wife Joann R. Zamora, his mother Connie Garcia, his brothers Jimmy and David, his sisters Angie and Diana. his sons Randy, Ralph, Ricky, Sonny, and Michael, his daughters Renee and Eliza and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Alfonso, Chris, Danny and Jesse Zamora.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are grateful for the years we shared with him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 28, 2026, from 7:00pm-8:00pm at Saxet Funeral Home. Viewing will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm.
