One of his greatest joys in life was being a grandfather. His beloved grandchildren include Zala Garcia, Nico Garcia, Aiden Garcia, Henry Garcia, Matthew Garcia, William Garcia, Elizabeth Chinchilla, and Isabella Chinchilla.

Camilo graduated from Carroll High School in Corpus Christi in 1985, the same year he married Liza Garcia. Together, they raised three children: Christina Maria, Benito David, and Camilo Garcia IV.

After high school, Camilo began his career as a mechanic at Firestone, which launched a 35-year journey in the automotive industry. Through hard work and dedication, he became a Ford Master Technician specializing as a diesel mechanic.

Camilo was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, camping, and target shooting. He was deeply involved with the Boy Scouts as a scoutmaster alongside his sons, and later served as a Venture Scouts crew leader with his daughter and sons. A skilled marksman with both bow and rifle, he cherished time spent in the great outdoors.

Later in life, Camilo discovered a passion for karate, achieving the rank of brown belt. He also had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed cruising on his Harley Davidson, finding freedom and joy on the open road.

Above all, Camilo was a pillar of strength for his family. His unwavering support and strong presence were felt by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, dedication, and the deep love he had for his family.

Camilo leaves behind a legacy of hard work, strength, and devotion. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be profoundly missed by all whose lives he touched.
