Brenda was called home on Friday, 10/17/2025. She was born on July 17, 1960, to Lloyd and Anease Lister Sr. Brenda graduated from Carroll High School, where she was a Track star. She attended Del Mar College, where she obtained her nursing license. She then graduated from A&M University. Brenda excelled as a nurse for 24+ years. She really loved helping others. Later in life she enjoyed crafting and making jewelry. She was so creative.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Anease Lister, Louis Wimbish, brothers Daniel (Chubby) Johnson, Dewboy Lister Sr. and two grandsons Marcus Henderson and Trajaan Chase.

Left to cherish her memories are her Husband of 44 years Charles A.Grant, her Daughter Tiffany York, the bonus kids Shawnta Grant and Erica ( Antwon)McCollough. Her beautiful grandkids Ma'layzia Henderson, My' Azja Lister, and Germie York Jr. Her great grandkids Kyng Henderson, Winter Lister, and Summer Wade. Her loving siblings David (Brenda) Guidry, Henry Guidry, Lloyd (Juanita) Lister, Losestine (Arthur) Pettis, Wilhelmina Stackhouse, Michael Lister, Lillie (Felton) Williams, Romeo (Deborah) Lister, Joe (Shanelle) Lister, Anease Lister, and Edward Lister.
