Ben Lacy Elmdahl, 33, passed from this life into eternity with Jesus on March 7, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on August 18, 1991, in Corpus Christi to John Stewart Elmdahl and Malinda Kay Shurate Elmdahl.

Ben never married but was greatly loved by everyone in his close and extended family because of his gentle spirit. He attended Flour Bluff ISD and went on to study at Del Mar College. Knowledge came easier to Ben than most people and in this way, he was a lot like his Grandfather Bengt, whom he was named after. He was a thoughtful, kind, sweet, loving son and is greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, John and Malinda, and his siblings, Kelsey, Lindsey, Tommy, and Joe, along with many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frieda and Thomas Shumate.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Grace Community Church, 1514 Flour Bluff Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78418.
