Arnold Dominguez, age 73, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Arnold was born on June 9, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Tx, to Isabel and Pete Dominguez. He was a devoted husband, father, coach, and mentor.

Arnold shared 45 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Irene Soliz Dominguez. Together, they built a life centered on family. He is survived by his children: Isabel Dominguez (Cynthia Hinojosa), Arnold Dominguez Jr., Daniel Dominguez (Yvette Villanueva), Nico Dominguez and his siblings John Dominguez, Margaret Del Llano and Jeanette Paez who will forever cherish his love, and strength.

Arnold dedicated many years to working with youth and shaping young lives. He was a longtime baseball coach with Universal Little League and a football coach with the Corpus Christi Youth Football League (CCYFL). Known affectionately as “Coach” or “Big Dog,” he left a lasting impact on countless children through his leadership, encouragement, and commitment. After retiring from the Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD), Arnold continued serving children through his work at the Garcia Art Center.

In his free time, Arnold enjoyed barbecuing with family and friends, fishing, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered for his warm heart, strong presence, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

A funeral service will be held on January 9, 2026, at Saxet Funeral Home, located at 4001 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78408.

Arnold Dominguez’s legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the love he shared.
