Armandina De La Pena, at the age of 88, passed away on September 1, 2025.
She was a longtime resident of Corpus Christi Tx. Armandina is preceded in death by her
parents Gustavo & Rafaela De La Pena and her brother Amado De La Pena.
She is survived by her only sister Enriqueta De La Pena Davila and numerous nieces &
nephews.

Armandina (PonPon) as we, her nieces & nephews called her, was a loving Aunt who
scolded us when necessary, back in the day when La Faja (belt) ruled, she never did, but her
eyes told us, we had done something wrong. She tried to spoil all of us best she could,
anything from her was special. Her passions included, carpentry, concrete work, anything a
man could do she would do better, BBQ, big Cowboy fan, gardening, TOMA TODO, life of
the party, making tamales & menudo for the holidays. Armandina will be missed dearly, by
family and friends.
Though we mourn her loss we take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place and we
look forward to the day we will be reunited with her.
