Arbutus Ann Gadd

Arbutus Ann Gadd, 81, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on January 2, 2026. She also went by Beauty, Ann, Mom, or Nana. Ann was born on January 10, 1944 in Ossining, NY, the daughter of Antonio Vierra and Eloise Ward. Ann loved watching television, especially westerns, Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons, growing her flowers, taking care of her two little dogs Trouble and Daisy, also her Grand-puppy Cupcake. She had so much joy in talking with anyone, anywhere, anytime. It was often said that she never met a stranger. Remaining to cherish Ann's memory are husband of 38 years Robert Gadd, Son: Michael Thornhill, Daughter-in-law Vickie Thornhill, Grandkids: Brian Thornhill, Nikki (Matthew) Holcomb, Kody Thornhill(Samantha Bowen), Shawna Thornhill, James Ray Thornhill and Great-Grandkids: Temperance Holcomb, Violet Holcomb, Chase Thornhill, Micah Thornhill, Lillian Kirkham, Alexis Bowen, Savannah Bell and Kody Bowen. Sister, Meleta Hunter and Brother, Bill Vierra. Nieces Lisa (Darryl) Reaves, Janet Hunter, Nephew Billy (Tammie) Vierra. Preceding Ann in death are sons John Thornhill and Richard Thornhill, her Mother and Father, Nephew Keith Hunter and Niece Stephanie Vierra and Great Niece Jennifer Reaves.
