Adela Benavides, born on May 13, 1959, in Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on October 2, 2025. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and remained steadfast in her Catholic faith throughout her life. Adela was a proud graduate of Miller High School, where she cherished her time as a Buc.

Adela is predeceased by her beloved parents, Inez and Ramona Benavides, her brother Juan Manuel Benavides, and David Vela. She leaves behind many close friends and cousins who treasured her companionship, as well as her dedicated provider, Nicole, who cared for her for many years.

Visitation will be held at 11am on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Saxet Funeral Home, followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 12:30pm. Interment will take place at Memory Garden Funeral Home.
